The champions of the ISL Shield 2021-22 had a horrible 2022-23 season. So much so that even a draw was a like a gold dust for the team and their fans. The question was not whether the team will make into the semifinals or not. The question was whether we will end last or second last. By the grace of God we ended second last in the league.
The team did play well in the last 4 games of the league wherein they won 3 and drew 1. However in the remaining 16 games we saw as many as 11 defeats. In the 20 games we played this season we were able to win only 5.
The Jamshedpur fans were praying for this season to end. And finally their prayers have been heard. The season has come to an end and the carnage is finally over.
